Playing Dress Up

Anyway, isn't she just the cutest thing you have ever seen? I was dying as this was unfolding, and she really didn't see me until that last shot. What a DOLL! I am still amazed that at a year and a half she can go into my closet (while I was showering), help herself to my jewelry box, splash on a pair of pumps and go to town. Is dress up just in her nature? Did I do things like this? I don't think I did. All I remember doing at age four was climbing up the hall closet shelves and stealing lip gloss out of my mom's makeup bag. This girl is already accessorizing. I am SO in love.

Oh my goodness! She is quite the accessorizer! So adorable. Definitely needs to dress up clothes! They were gone today. Sad. Maybe you snatched some before.

Don't you love that? Alyssa plays dress up, too. The girl is in to shoes. Any shoes she can find. She loves them. I love that Em could walk in those heels! She's going to be heading down a runway before you know it.

It's funny you say you don't think the pictures turned out because I was looking at them wishing I had a better camera (yes mine is brand new! I should have splurged for a "nice" camera! You know one that doesn't delay! I know how to get around it but it's just not the same as a photographer's camera! Which I am not so I guess that's okay that I don't have one!) Anyway! I remember as soon as Karah was old enough to scoot her little body around I found her reaching up into this vinyl bag that had a doll in it. She had unzipped it just enough to get her tiny hand in the bag and was holding onto it. I thought she was jus too young for dolls that's why it was still in the packaging but apparently I was wrong! Soon she was doing the dress up thing too! I don't know if it's because they want to be like mommy but I know (for some kids) it's in their blood! So cute! (Sorry, gotta share! When Boo was one, I also found her in my drawer that had my nylons in it and she was taking them one by one and draping them around her neck and shoulders like they were boas or something! It was silly-she thought she looked so beautiful!)
