It is the night before the Families Supporting Adoption Conference where Lindsey and I will be hanging out all weekend at The R House Couture booth. Lindsey and I will be making and taking custom orders on the spot as well as (((drum roll))) debuting our new clothing line. Poor Leisha, (or maybe poor us) is away at Young Women's Camp. Anyway, our new clothing line is delectable. This year, unlike last year all of our items will be available for purchase and not just display. We are so THRILLED about it!
Tonight is also the Girl's Night Out with The R House! Lindsey and I have been running around like mad women, so if you are in town, we hope you will come to this FREE event at the Courtyard Marriott in Layton which is within walking distance of the Davis Convention Center where the FSA Conference is this weekend.
We have awesome SWAG bags for the first 50 through the door, raffle tickets on sale for $1 (the raffle will start at 9:30 p.m.), manicures, a crafty little service project for BirthMom Buds, conversation starters, chatting, connections and a great way to make friends before the big FSA conference. It is going to be SO. Much. Fun.
The food is being provided by Chubby Hubby Cupcakes and Schmidt's Pastry Cottage. Need I say more? Chubby Hubby Cupcakes are my all-time favorite cupcake and as Lindsey says I am a cupcake snob so come and partake! Schmidt's Pastry Cottage has ALWAYS been my one of my favorite places for eclairs and delicious pastries. Lindsey loves them also (proof), plus it is owned by adoptive parents ...(You know how much we love adoption.) Go ahead and give Schmidt's a LIKE on their new Facebook page to show your appreciation!
