...firstly, let me introduce you to Emily.
(the irony of this haircut, is that every young boy in my neighborhood has it...hmm.)
a.k.a 'Emily, Emily, Emily, Emily, Emily...'
(as I serenaded her all through high school Senior year (channel Cheers' "Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly" by Woody))
I freaking love this lady with ALL of my heart.
She has been such a good friend to me all my adult life. Like this day:
She introduced me to this man's work.
Love her for it.
It is because of her I am friends will ALL of these people.
Let us discuss how big of a heart she has?
It is huge.
I look up to her in SO many ways.
She is gorgeous, INSANELY smart, talented and giving.
She has recorded this AMAZING CD called:
Little Claire de Lune
Lullabies on Harp
She compiled these songs that! she! played! on! the! harp!
(she has been playing for over 20 years!)
For what?
To make millions?
Well, yes.
For herself?
NO!
To help thousands of children in Bulgarian orphanages.
*tears*
Specifically for:
One Heart Bulgaria
The images will stun you, will break your heart, and I guarantee you will not be able to turn off the computer until you have purchased this CD.
I. Dare. You.
You know of my love for adoption.
I cannot look at that site without wanting to hop on a plane and bring
all of those littles home with me.
So heavy.
Will you help?

aww friends are the best!! Especially ones that have been there forever! I would love her cd!
Those children are so precious! I would love to just fly there and bring them home with me!
There was a sample song on that website, oh sounds gorgeous. I almost fell asleep in my chair... not the best thing to do at work!
Really considering getting one...
What an amazing woman! I would love that CD. Thank heavens for great friends!
I've been sitting here at my computer with 'Over the Rainbow' playing over and over and over again as I sit here and take time for myself by looking into other people's lives via blogs. What an amazing friend you have. It nearly broke my heart to look at those sweet children and read the heart-wrenching stories. I truly wish I could have those sweet kids.
Kim, I know you and I have never met - but I must say that you are stunningly beautiful. I think you are WAY too hard on yourself. You are a very beautiful person inside and out. Life is hard and tough and tiring and we as mothers sure don't get a lot of time for ourselves. You need to give yourself a little credit at what an amazing job you are doing in your sweet little life.
Take a deep breath. Life is beautiful. Hang in there.
yay! just bought one!!
How beautiful- (lullabies on the harp AND helping orphans)!
And at the risk of sounding like a total brown-noser I have to agree with Natalie's comment, YOU'RE beautiful too, Kim!
What an amazing thing to do. I would love to win this and play it for my sweet baby.

I'm just a little curious, why bulgaria?
You would have to ask Miss Emily Jon...didn't you serve your mission there?
I'm not entering to win, but I wanted to say thanks for all of your comments and interest, and a huge thanks to Kim for bringing attention to my CD. I LOVE you, Kim! You're beautiful!
In answer to your question, Jon, I have no connection to Bulgaria, but the day before I made the CD I came across the newspaper article below and decided I wanted to help.
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700012786/Helping-aching-hearts-2-Utahns-try-to-brighten-lives-of-neglected-children-in-Bulgarian-orphanages.html
Thanks again to everyone for your interest and for those of you helping to spread the word!
I'm not commenting to win, but I will be buying this CD. I am starting my own Bulgarian adoption and was so excited when my friend sent me this link!!
