Gosh! seems like everyone I know is running these days! I felt the need after eating marzipan and a cupcake last nigh! But I think I should start with a 5K. Heck - I need to just start walking/running a few times a week. I'll be excited to watch this on your blog over the next few months!

Oooo! Exciting! Good for you! My goal the last couple years has been to do the Taylorsville 5k. This year I'm going to do it! That's the best I'll be able to do for now! :)

Hooray for you! I've done two half marathons in the year since Ashley was born. Love the goal making and shedding those post-pregnancy pounds. You can do it!

I'vd done this race before. Beautiful scenary, well organized, and of course staying a little extra to enjoy Moab is always fun. I will say that there is one LARGE hill around mile 8-9ish that can be rough. Also the last 2-3 miles when you come out of the canyon were a killer for me (much hotter, red sand blowing in your face, and of course the fact that it is the last 2-3 miles!) You will stil love it though!

You have to eat at the little italian restaurant on main street (sorry the name escapes me now) it is so YUMMY and of course you need carbs before a big race, right??

I wish I could commit to this race, but I have already comitted to the Wasatch Back Relay as my "big" race this year. And my husband and (check book) might not appreciate another Moab weekend.

Sorry to be long winded, I get excited about this stuff!

Good luck!
