I did it! Totally an easy way for us to do something great, thanks for sharing Kim! Also, To stay well, we drink lots of water and add Emergen-C to it daily, especially when I feel a sore throat or cold coming on. Haven't been really sick in at least a year or so. Also, rest and stress reduction are so valuable!
OK - I totally "liked" Pur on FB. As far as flu/winter cough and cold remedies go... I work in a pharmacy at HARMON'S! There are all kinds of awesome things. I personally use Theraflu Nighttime LEMON FLAVOR ONLY to help me decongest and sleep at night. It knocks me out and I don't feel groggy. I also know that I would LOVE to make you a batch of my homemade chicken soup for you and your sicky family ANY TIME! So here's to hoping that people don't get super sick this winter season!
I'm a PUR follower on FB. Looking for some good tips myself as this is my first cold/flu season while teaching and being pregnant. I'm already feeling warn down!
I am liker of PUR. When I am sick I usually just TRY to get rest, I know it is hard with the kids and different schedules. And I love to drink a lot of fluids, and I wash my hands a lot too. We use a lot of the Tylenol Cold products too.
I "liked" it :) I'm so in love with the products above. I've been sick for 3 weeks and with working 2 jobs and doing photography on the side, Dayquil was the only thing that kept me going!
I 'liked' it, and I am totally jealous of all the above products. I had a three week cold last month, and I couldn't use ANY of this good stuff! Boo!
However, my hubby has an awesome trick. Whenever he feels the yucky coming on, he drinks and entire bottle of orange juice. The huge rush of vitamin C kills everything and he's better within a day. Couldn't use that method either though, because orange juice makes me nauseous. :P
I did it :) My favorite remedy is my netti pot. I get really bad sinus infections when I get a cold and it is so nice to use to help clean out everything. If I was really good I would do it everyday like Dr. Oz says you should to help avoid all the bacteria that gets in there in the first place.
we love soup!! anykind. also, much sleep and lots of movies. We drink Pop at our house when we're sick. I think it helps! And my number 1 thing is to take mucinex. It ROCKS!! I think it helps the most!
Lately I've been using airborne at the first tiny symptom and I am convinced it helps! If I get that tickle in my throat or an achy neck (my usual first symptoms of sick coming on) I take some airborne and I swear it keeps it from getting bad! My husband thinks it's a crock, but whatever...it works for me.
