"Now I can't scratch my blanket!"
Cuz I clipped her little nails. I guess it is her comfort...to "scratch" her boo boo.
Also, sometime around Christmas, we were at church and Memms grabs a handful of bread during the Sacrament. I whisper in her little ear,
"Memms, we only take ONE piece of bread okay?"
She looks me dead in the eye:
"Don't whisper to me!"
Dood how I love her.
oh wow i laughed my head off at the whisper comment! That is hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! My 3 year old always does the same thing. she loves telling me, "Don't talk Mommy. Okay, now you can."
ReplyDeletewell, she put you in your place! she is so cute, love what lil ones say!
ReplyDeleteI love how kids have there own little "comfort quirks"! That is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling well!

ReplyDeleteSo funny and cute! Just wait though, there will come a time when it is not as cute and funny. We are there! Sometimes it's so hard to not laugh though! Kids say the funniest things!
ReplyDeleteWe always have to tell Emma that she only gets one piece of bread, too. A few weeks ago, I whispered to her that she only needs one, and she looked at me with a huge grin and said, "I'm taking three," and then shoved them into her mouth. Seconds later, she was gagging on them. Yes, really. Everyone in the chapel that day got to hear her choking on the sacrament bread. Good times!
ReplyDeleteI am glad Zaquel isn't the only one who takes a handful of bread! Too funny!
