Even if it kills me, and more than likely it will. Mrs. R will be there to carry me to the finish line (or to at least tell them where to find my body).
Why? Because I am crazy.
Why? Because I need a better outlet than Baskin Robbins.
Why? Because I want to photograph my children's weddings.
Why? Because I need to lose some weight.
Why? Because I am TIRED of telling myself I could NEVER do that, because I CAN!
This is fantastic, and you're right - you TOTALLY can!!!

Hey Kim! I'm proud of you for setting a goal because it's only a wish until you tell someone or write it down and then it becomes a goal. Top of Utah is a great race and a great goal. I paced a running partner on that for her last 6 miles. My suggestion to you is to set some smaller goals in the meantime to get you to this one so that you don't feel frustrated. I would LOVE to be with you on any of them leading up to the big one. The Provo 1/2 is an awesome one and so is Hobblecreek. Let me know when your first 5K and then 10K is! I'm SO excited for you! I KNOW you can do this, without a doubt. Take it one mile at a time! (Sorry for the long comment. You struck a familiar and favorite chord w/ me!)
ReplyDeleteyeah, baby.
ReplyDeleterun it up!
Good luck on your half! It will be awesome!
ReplyDeleteAmy
